Conclusions
Quenching of thin-walled pieces of aluminum alloy in liquid nitrogen at−196°C reduces warping to the minimum without reducing the strength or corrosion resistance. The strength characteristics of pieces with a thickness up to 5 mm meet the GOST requirements after quenching in liquid nitrogen.
