Youth Policies in the Nordic Countries

Abstract

All Nordic countries1 know about the Nordic model of welfare systems and policy. It can also be detected in Nordic youth policies. For example all Nordic countries value coordination and investment in education and training as central strategy in the activation policy relating to young people. Nordic countries have often been in advance of other European countries in youth issues.
