Abstract
In this chapter we undertake three tasks. First, we first present a number of analyses that represent starting points for new directions in the theory of images of stratification, and in that sense are examples of proliferation of our theoretical research program. Second, we present results of simulation studies of the over-time paths to the panoply of stable images of stratification. And, third, we describe an empirical study that, with certain qualifications to be discussed, can be regarded as approximating an empirical test of a version of the general model.
