Abstract
In this short discussion of the high resolution spectroscopy of diatomic molecules in the vacuum ultraviolet, it is impossible to give a review of the instrumentation and the state of knowledge of the spectra. This paper is therefore limited to a discussion of some of the experimental techniques and some of the molecules which are closely associated with the research programs carried out in Ottawa.
