Synopsis

The paper presents data on the performance on a range of raw waters of an electrodialysis reversal plant operated at a large coal fired power station in the North Eastern Region of the Central Electricity Generating Board. The performance of the system in terms of salt rejection and output is assessed and its potential role for the production of boiler feed water make-up briefly discussed.
