Zusammenfassung
Gefäßmalformationen sind seltene und komplexe Läsionen. Ihre variable Klinik reicht von asymptomatischen Geburtsmalen bis zu lebensbedrohlichen Herzinsuffizienzen und starken Blutungen. Patienten, die unter einer Malformation leiden, erleben häufig eine Odyssee an Fehldiagnosen und Fehlbehandlungen mit Verschlechterung der Beschwerden, Rezidiven und Behinderung.
