Zusammenfassung
Die Blutzufuhr zum Intestinum besteht aus einem reichhaltigen Kollateralnetzwerk und einem sehr heterogenen Verlauf der großen Viszeralarterien und ihren Abgängen. Die physiologische Anatomie kann mit ihren Varianten Einfluss auf Pathologie, Behandlungsoptionen und Interventionsplanung haben. Es ist daher die Aufgabe dieses Kapitels, die Bedeutung der Anatomie des intestinalen Gefäßbaumes und seines Kollateralsystems für die Physiologie und Pathophysiologie des Mesenterialsystems darzustellen.
