Abstract

According to the definition of the Subcommittee on Classification and Definition at the Seventh International Congress of Sar coidosis and Other Granulomatous Diseases, sarcoidosis is multisystemic granulomatous disorder of unknown etiology an pathogenesis which most commonly affects young adults. Its pre senting manifestations most frequently involve bilateral hilar ad enopathy, pulmonary infiltration, and skin or eye lesions (Helmann and Stobo 1986).
