Abstract
One new internal concentrator PV-thermal tube collector is presented. Crystal silicon cells are stuck on the absorber strip of the metal pipe. The trough reflector within the glass tube envelope concentrating the solar radiation onto the cells and the absorber strip.
The solar radiation on the collector tube partly generates electricity by the silicon cells. In the meantime the heat collected is transferred through the strip-pipe. Thus we get high combined PV-thermal performance.
The structure of the internal concentrator PV-thermal tube collector is described. The electricity and thermal output ratio; concentrator design; methods of transfer heat out are discussed.
