Abstract
As a national science and technology demonstration project, we designed and setup a outdoor high-brightness LED large-screen display system powered by solar PV power source. The article introduces the design of solar PV system. As this LED large-screen display system needs to work day and night continuously, we designed a mixed power supply system. This system uses solar PV power supply in priority, power from the grid for reservation. For the purpose of reducing the power consumption of display system, the screen brightness is designed to have adjust functions which can adjust automatically according to the environment. So the power consumption of screen is reduced in wide-range and the configuration of solar PV system is decreased.
