Abstract
In this paper, statistical analysis for the thermal performance of evacuated tube solar collectors and flat-plate solar collectors is presented respectively according to the test results by National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Solar Heating Systems (Beijing) in recent years. It indicates the difference of solar collectors’ quality, in contrast to the foreign product’s, is not at zero-loss efficiency but at the heat loss coefficient. We found that the heat loss coefficient of solar collectors plays an important role in the aim-assisted space heating or air-conditioning systems. The ways of improving the solar collectors’ quality in China are also pointed out.
