Zusammenfassung

Ausgangspunkt ist der Begriff der sozialen Exklusion. Soziale Exklusion spielt insbesondere für zwei wichtige, soziologische Thesen (vgl. Bude & Lantermann, 2006), nämlich für die These zunehmender Polarisierung zwischen privilegierten und benachteiligten Gruppen moderner Gesellschaften (Polarisierungsthese) sowie für die These zunehmender sozialer Entkopplung moderner Gesellschaften (Diffusionsthese), eine zentrale Rolle.
