Abstract

Birth-related trauma in children relates to injury sustained during the labor or delivery process. The most frequent mechanical injuries are cranial and brachial plexus injuries. The sequelae are usually short-lived, but some may have long-term cognitive or physical sequelae. The early and correct diagnoses of this condition are fundamental to appropriate management.
