Abstract
The Beauregard dam site is affected by a large creeping rockslide on the left abutment slope. Slope displacements mainly occur during spring and early summer, and correlate with elevated groundwater conditions after snow melt. The relationship between piezometric conditions and slope displacement rate is investigated with the Creep Equilibrium Analysis Method (CrEAM, Engl 2013), applying both simple and complex viscous constitutive models. Creep parameters are back-calculated using monitoring data and compared with laboratory creep test results. The analyses reveal notable differences between the viscous models performance, as well as between laboratory and back-calculated creep parameters.
