Abstract

Modern orthopedic practice relies heavily on various imaging modalities including plain radiographs, computer-assisted tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and bone scintigrams. These techniques help in diagnosis and management of various orthopedic problems such as trauma, tumor, infections and metabolic skeletal diseases.
