Abstract
There are so many unknown functional molecules to be discovered in the nervous system. How so many types of cells differentiate to bild up the complex brain architecture. How so many synapses are specifically formed. How neurotransmitters are released. How synaptic connections are changed epigenically. How memory is stored in the brain. At present, we know little about of the molecular mechanisms of these phenomena, therefore, we have a lot of molecula incognita to be exploired, most of which are localized on and/or around the nerve cell membrane.
