Abstract

It is important that safety be designed into equipment right from the beginning. The best information available should be applied and although it may not cover every case it will certainly reduce the probability of an accident. As many safety features as possible should be built right into the equipment, so that regardless of who uses the equipment, the degree of safety will always be the same.
