Abstract
The C group of apolipoproteins are predominantly associated with triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (VLDL), intermediate density (IDL) and high density lipoproteins (HDL) in the plasma. Apo C consists of three peptides: C-I, C-II and C-III. Apo C-III exists at least in three forms: apo C-III, C-III and C-III according to the number of moles of sialic acid which they contain.
