Abstract

The aim of this chapter is to bring to the attention of the radiographer the numerous artifacts which occur in MRI and interfere with the quality and interpretation of the images. These artifacts can obscure or create false pathology and it is therefore important to minimise or eliminate them. This can be achieved in a number of different ways.
