Abstract

Many of the borderline problems met in the respiratory tract are substantially the same as those occurring at other sites and already noted, as, for example, overgrowths of stratified squamous epithelium, including the verrucous carcinoma, pseudo-lymphoma and the curious pseudo-sarcoma of Lane (1957). However, even of these, some have particular relevance within, and others are peculiar to, the respiratory system: some such are mentioned in more detail later.
