Abstract
I’m taking a big risk each time I go out with my netbook, and I should know better. A few years ago, I was carrying an old laptop down the stairs, and it jumped. You might argue that I dropped it, but to this day I still believe that laptop had a grudge and wanted to get me in trouble. It landed on the hinged edge and the LCD screen cracked in about four different places. I could turn it on and see most of the screen, but it was very difficult to work with and ultimately required about $200 in repair costs.
