Abstract
Just as general internment continued despite the changing public mood, so, despite the sinking of the Arandora Star, ships continued to leave Liverpool bearing cargoes of internees. On 2 July the Ettrick set sail for Canada. On 4 July the Sobieski followed in her wake. Leon Feldman was on board.
