Abstract

Frank Kerr and I first met in 1952, when he was on the staff of the CSIRO Radiophysics Division, then housed on the grounds of the University of Sydney, and I was working at Mount Stromlo Observatory as the first Research Fellow of the newly created Astronomy Department of the Australian National University in Canberra.
