Abstract

Water sports injuries are common in adolescents and uncommon in children The location and severity of injury depends upon the specific participation and the level of competition Plain radiographs, ultrasonography and MR imaging, have distinct indications CT is the method of first choice for imaging all serious injuries in the head and axial skeleton, followed by MRI whenever neurological deficit exists
