Abstract

The integrated Monitoring, Control and Alarm System (MCAS) re- places conventional shipboard controls and instruments with a set of touch screens aboard a 70-foot high-tech catamaran designed for off-shore cruising. The Kingcat MCAS – Monitoring, Control and Alarm System is implemented in Ada and Java.
