Mathematical Models and Optimization for Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Technologies

Operations Research Forum invites submissions for a special issue focused on the development and application of mathematical models and optimization techniques in the field of environmental engineering and sustainable technologies. This special issue aims to promote communication and collaboration among researchers and practitioners working on novel and efficient solutions to practical engineering issues within the context of optimal environmental challenge management.

We welcome original research articles, reviews, and case studies that address the following topics (but are not limited to):

• Mathematical modeling in environmental engineering.

• Combinatorial optimization & environment.

• Efficient design of renewable energy systems.

• Optimal management of natural resources.

• Design and optimization of green and sustainable supply chains.

• Transportation, fuel consumption, and alternative fuels.

• Carbon footprint analysis models.

• Waste management.

• Air pollution and climate change.

Submissions must meet the standard requirements of Operations Research Forum and will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. To submit your manuscript, please use the online submission system of Operations Research Forum, indicating that your submission is intended for this special issue.
