Novel Membrane Materials

Membrane science is widely used in modern technologies. Membranes are actively used for the separation, purification and concentration of gas and liquid mixtures. Investigations of membranes use in energy, sensing, biology and medicine and for solving a number of other applied problems is actively developing. The limited set of membranes currently produced cannot meet the growing technology needs. In this regard, in recent years, there has been a significant increase in interest in the production of new types of membranes, characterized by high productivity and selectivity, mechanical strength, chemical stability, and elasticity. In this regard, this issue is devoted to the development of new membrane materials.
