Innovative Food and Drug Provision from Biomass – Status 2023

Goal of this thematic issue is it to collect papers related to the provision of innovative food and drug components from organic matter. Therefore, the focus is clearly on conversion / provision processes of biomass into marketable products. Please see the Call for Paper for full details.

The focus of this thematic issue is on original research papers with novel findings and new results meetings the highest scientific standards in the research field outlined above. Review papers are typically rejected. They are only exceptionally accepted if they are tackling a clearly new question and / or providing new and in-depth insights into a specific topic.

All manuscripts submitted to this thematic issue will go through a stringent peer review process managed by the editorial staff of the journal, and only those that are accepted after peer review will be published. The manuscripts must be prepared strictly following the guidelines of the journal; otherwise, they will be rejected.
