Multimodal Photoacoustic Imaging

Multimodal photoacoustic imaging refers to a hybrid imaging technique that combines the principles of photoacoustic imaging with other imaging modalities, such as ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), or optical imaging. By integrating multiple imaging modalities, multimodal photoacoustic imaging provides complementary information about tissue structure, function, and molecular composition, enhancing the overall imaging capabilities. This special issue aims to introduce innovative multimodal photoacoustic imaging technologies and their applications within the field of biomedicine.
