BMC Plant Biology invites submissions to the Collection ‘Plant synthetic biology: advances in fundamental research and applications’. This Collection aims to gather fundamental and applied research in plant synthetic biology, covering aspects such as plant yield and resilience enhancement, plant metabolic engineering, genetic engineering of synthetic plastomes and plant systems for the production of high-value bioactive compounds, agricultural bioengineering, and plant synthetic biology innovations applied to sustainable agriculture, among other research questions.
