Advances in Environmental Sciences and Engineering

Today, science can contribute to solving life's challenges; help us to satisfy local needs and to promote sustainable development for a healthy society. The idea of this special volume was born following an in-depth discussion between a number of researchers working in a wide range of disciplines, and from a selection of papers presented at the congress "Science at the service of sustainable development", held in El Jadida (Morocco) on 09 and 10 March 2023. This multidisciplinary issue aims to provide a basis for in-depth scientific dialogue about the current research and pertinent proposals to better solve the economic, social and environmental challenges confronting the future of our planet. The proposed issue will encourage exchanges between scientific researchers in various fields in order to develop a global vision around a number of topics (agricultural, marine, industrial and others). These multidisciplinary results will be published with the aim of helping decision-makers to make the most appropriate decisions in favor of a modern society and a sustainable environment.
