Materials Science: Surface Coatings and Coating Techniques

This collection intends to show research and innovation on surface coating and coating techniques, including either coating endowed with potential application in the field of green energy, environment, sea, or under the extreme conditions, or coating technique with innovation in principle and design of physical vapor deposition or chemical vapor deposition. Examples are Metal coating; Ceramic coating; High entropy alloy and ceramic coating; LBE resistant coating; Lubricant coating; Wear resistant coating; Antioxidation coating; Carbon based coating; Novel coating processes and equipment development.

His research focused on the research &development of surface coating and coating techniques, including TM Nitrides/carbides coating, high entropy coatings, lubricating coatings; as well as developing coating techniques including advanced magnetron sputtering; Multi-arc ion plating; the combined techniques of MS and AIP with innovative design, configuration and optimization.
