The year 2023 marks the initiation of China’s manned lunar exploration project. This issue will focus on innovative methods aimed at enhancing overall capacity along with fundamental principles governing scientific objectives and selection criteria for lunar landing sites. Additionally, it will highlight advancements in carrier rockets and manned spacecrafts technologies. Furthermore, it will present ideas and thoughts regarding future developments in lunar exploration which can serve as valuable references for readers seeking insights into progress within these fields.
