Modern Approaches for Efficient Energy Systems

Technology and Economics of Smart Grids and Sustainable Energy will be publishing a Topical Collection entitled “Modern Approaches for Efficient Energy Systems”.

Guest Edited by Dr. Saad Motahhir and Dr. Shady H. E. Abdel Aleem, this collection will present original research on integrating modern renewable energy approaches, such as artificial intelligence, Blockchain, control theory, Internet of Things, and Embedded systems. Theoretical contributions (including new techniques, concepts, and analyses) and practical contributions (including system experiments and prototypes and new applications) are welcome. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that present original and unpublished research in all digital technologies in renewable energy.

This collection will focus on recent advances in product-based design and manufacturing for achieving energy efficiency using modern approaches.

Topics of interest for this collection include, but are not limited to:

1. Intelligent energy-efficient solutions for future applications.

2. Optimization of energy assets using machine learning and deep learning algorithms.

3. Industrial Revolution 4.0 focused automation using blockchain technologies in energy harvest (photovoltaic (PV), wind, solar, batteries, electric vehicles (EVs)).

4. Applications of AI, blockchain IoT for sustainable manufacturing and service.

5. AI-based intelligent solutions for energy efficiency.

6. Artificial neural networks applied to energy systems.Control theory for efficient energy systems.

7. Energy solutions to intelligent transportation systems.
