3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, develops rapidly in recent years as a disruptive innovation that may overturn the traditional manufacturing techniques. This collection intends to show research and development in 3D printing of nonmetallic materials, including but not limited to polymers, resins, ceramics, concrete, food, and organic tissues, by means of theoretical modeling, numerical simulation and/or experimental investigation either on printing process or on their novel applications.
