Special Issue in honor of Arkadii Slinko

We are inviting submissions to a Special Issue in honor of Arkadii Slinko’s many contributions to economic design and to the Centre for Mathematical Social Science (CMSS) at The University of Auckland, which he founded in 2010.

This special issue intends to celebrate research in the areas core to Arkadii Slinko’s research work and career, namely

1) Mathematical politics, and mathematical economics;

2) Applied algebra and combinatorics with particular interest in mathematics of voting and decision making in general; and

3) Computational social choice.

To further promote research and insights in these areas, the Review of Economic Design is soliciting manuscripts for a Special Issue in honor of Arkadii Slinko. Submissions on the areas listed above will be prioritised, including submissions of research papers presented at the recently held CMSS Summer Workshop in Arkadii Slinko’s honor.

Of particular interest are papers providing contributions that generate novel economic insights and/or that expand the knowledge in these areas.

Selected papers for this Special Issue will be considered for further inclusion in a collective volume in the series “Studies in Economic Design” also published by Springer. Additional contributions will be sought for inclusion in this volume, and a separate call for submissions will follow in due course.

Papers must be submitted through the electronic submission system , choosing “Special Issue in honor of Arkadii Slinko” from the drop-down list during submission. Please mention in the cover letter as well that the submission is meant for the special issue. Submissions accepted before the completion of the issue will be published ‘online first,’ and they will be fully citable with the DOI.
