Gender-Based Violence and Mental Health

Our primary objective is to publish scholarly works focusing on gender-based violence and the psychological implications surrounding it, with a specific emphasis on mental health. We welcome contributions that delve into the various dimensions of gender-based violence, exploring its impact on individuals' psychological well-being. Our goal is to provide a platform that highlights research addressing the complex intersections of gender-based violence and mental health, fostering a deeper understanding of the associated challenges and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in this critical area. We invite submissions that investigate the psychological dynamics, coping mechanisms, and therapeutic interventions related to gender-based violence, ultimately aiming to promote awareness and inform evidence-based practices in the field of mental health.     Prof. Pasquale Caponnetto, PhD, University of Catania, Italy

    Prof. Pasquale Caponnetto received his Ph.D. degree from University of Stirling. He is a Clinical and Community Psychologist, Systemic-Relational Psychotherapist, holds a Master's in Criminological and Penitentiary Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. Since October 31, 2022, he has been a Fixed-Term Researcher in Clinical Psychology (MPSI-08) at the Department of Educational Sciences, University of Catania.

    Dr. Vittorio Lenzo, PhD, University of Catania, Italy

    Dr. Vittorio Lenzo received his Ph.D. degree from University of Messina. He is a researcher of Dynamic Psychology at the Department of Educational Sciences of the University of Catania where he teaches Dynamic Psychology; Psychologist and Psychotherapist Psychoanalytically oriented.
