21st Advanced Materials and Technologies Conference (AMT2023)

The first Advanced Materials and Technologies Conference was held in 1961. The AMT’2023 follows this periodical event, organized every three years under the auspices of Polish Materials Science Society, which is a member of Federation of European Materials Society FEMS. It is an honor for Silesian University of Technology to host the AMT’2023 Conference, which is organized by the Faculty of Materials Engineering, Katowice. The conference will be held on June 18th – 21st at the Hotel Gołębiewski Wisła located at the source of Vistula River, and surrounded by beautiful forests and mountains. The Conference has no established organization and each event is focused on the currently most exciting areas of materials science. The AMT’2023 Conference will continue the same tradition by providing an area of international Materials Science community to present their new findings in the field. The AMT’2023 topics include the following five areas: • Functional and structural materials, • Advanced thermal, mechanical and chemical processing and surface engineering, • Materials characterization and modeling, • Materials applications: materials for transportation, materials for electronic, biomaterials and bioengineering, materials for energy, • Young researchers – Advanced materials and technologies.
