Offshore Renewable Energies

Offshore renewable energies will solve the energy problem that has the world in terms of changing its electricity production from fossil fuels to renewable energies. In this context, several types of offshore renewable energies can be analyzed: offshore wind, wave energy, tidal energy, solar offshore energy, etc. All of them can be installed in shallow waters (up to 60 m) using fixed structures or in deep waters (more than 60 m of depth) using floating structures. This topical collection wants to study all the aspects of these technologies: economic, social, engineering, logistics, management, etc.

Keywords: Offshore renewable energies; wave energy; offshore wind energy; solar offshore energy; WEC; ocean energy
