Raman Spectroscopy for Analytical Applications

We are pleased to inform that a special issue entitled “Raman Spectroscopy for Analytical Applications” will be published as a collection volume in 2024. Raman spectroscopy is a powerful analytical method utilized in various fields such as material science, food science, pharmaceutical development, medical diagnosis, and cell biology due to its less or non-invasiveness in analysis. In addition, the enhancement techniques of Raman signals including surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering (CARS) have accelerated utilization of Raman spectroscopy in many research and application fields. Furthermore, multimodal combinations of Raman spectroscopy with atomic force microscopy, electron microscopy, chromatography, and other spectroscopy are expected to open up novel analytical applications. This collection volume focuses on the state-of-the art research activities of such Raman spectroscopic studies. The articles categorized to this volume will appear in every issue from January to December in 2024. We look forward to your submissions.
