Fengyun Series Meteorological Satellite Technology

Dear Colleagues, Fengyun series meteorological satellites are the earliest business operation satellites with the highest quantitative requirements and the most robust observation system in China. After 50 years of development, Fengyun has become an important international image, showing an independent innovation road of Chinese remote sensing satellite technology to the world. With the successes of the FY-3E and the FY-4B satellite in 2021, we see that Chinese satellite technology is stepping into a new stage. The Special Issue is designed to refine the technical achievements in the process of Fengyun series satellite development and to provide a reference for the future high precision remote sensing satellites. In particular, the topics of interest include but are not limited to: Advanced Satellite Platform Technology; New Space Payload Technology; Satellite Collaborative and Space Network Technology; Image Navigation and Registration Technology; Payload Calibration Technology; Satellite Pre-process and Application Technology.
