Despite mental health being an important aspect of overall well-being, many people continue to struggle with mental health difficulties. Evidence-based psychological therapies and services have gained recognition for their role in addressing these issues and promoting mental health. The main goal of this journal's special issue is to publish the latest advances and best practices in psychological therapies and services supported by empirical data.
This special collection will focus on innovative interventions and therapies that have been proven to enhance mental health outcomes, including techniques that combine different therapy modalities with technology, such as digital mental health platforms. Furthermore, this issue will explore strategies to improve the accessibility of evidence-based psychological care, particularly in marginalized and underprivileged areas. The issue will also examine care models that integrate psychological therapies with other social and medical services on a larger scale, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health promotion and treatment. Systematic studies on the efficacy of psychological therapies will be considered since they are crucial for informing evidence-based policy and practice.
The special issue will include research articles that use rigorous scientific methods, such as longitudinal and randomized controlled trials, to evaluate the impact of various psychological therapies on mental health outcomes. It is hoped that this special issue will contribute to the growing body of knowledge on the effectiveness of evidence-based psychological therapies in promoting mental health and overall well-being. It is also hoped that the articles presented will inspire further research, inform policy decisions, and lead to the development of more efficient and accessible mental health care systems globally.
