The Advances in Operator Theory is releasing a special issue in memory of Professor Albrecht Pietsch (1934-2024), who made significant contributions to various subjects in mathematics such as functional analysis and operator theory. His works include operator ideals, s-numbers, eigenvalue distributions, approximation spaces, singular traces, Lorentz sequence ideals, nuclear locally convex spaces, and singular traces. While the focus of the special issue is on works related to Professor Pietsch's achievements, submissions covering other topics within the journal's scope are also welcomed. All manuscripts intended for the special issue will undergo standard review procedures and must adhere to the established standards of the Journal. The submission deadline is December 31, 2024.
