HT-CMC11

In order to respond to climate change and achieve sustainable development, efforts are expanding to apply Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) to various industrial fields including aerospace, transportation, power generation systems, etc. CMC materials provide energy efficient and ecofriendly systems due to their outstanding thermo-structural performances. International Conference on High Temperature Ceramic Matrix Composites (HT-CMC) is one of the most prominent meeting to provide a chance to discuss the latest technology development of the important class of materials.

The conference series has been held every 3 years in a different continent among Asia, America and Europe after the first meeting in Bordeaux, France in 1993. Continuing with this rich tradition and success, the 11th HT-CMC was held in Jeju, Korea in 2023 and successfully completed with 515 participants and 371 presentations from 23 countries. This special issue collects selected contributions from some of the presentations of this meeting.
