Radek Stoček received his Dr.-Ing. in 2012 at the Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany). Then he started an industrial career at Polymer Research Lab (PRL), Zlin (Czech Republic) and parallel an independent academic career at the Tomas Bata University (TBU) in Zlín. He finished his habilitation in 2019. Currently, he is holding the two positions as Head of R&D at PRL and Head of the Rubber Department at TBU. His research and scientific interests are focused on the characterization of rubber material properties concerning fatigue and fracture mechanics and the development of new and advanced testing methodologies, hardware and equipment.
In 2020, Eric Euchler received his Dr.-Ing. at the Dresden University of Technology (Germany). During his doctorate, he was affiliated to the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e.V. (Germany), where he is now the leader of the research group “Mechanics and Structure of elastomeric Materials”. His research work is dedicated to an improved understanding of the process-structure-properties relation of elastomers, with a special interest in the combination of advanced mechanical testing and high-resolution structure analysis.
