Abstract
MIRACLES, BIG AND SMALL, ARE MUNDANE on a medical campus. Hearts are mended, brains rewired, rashes soothed, wounds healed, and diseases cured. Miracles are harder to come by in the forgotten neighborhoods of America, where lives and days are made of the stuff that breaks hearts and opens wounds.
