Abstract

The findings suggest that supplementation of a calcified seaweed supplement (Aquacid™) increased bone turnover of yearlings as compared with supplementation of limestone that provided an equivalent amount of calcium when fed with a diet containing the National Research Council recommended amount of calcium.
