Abstract

The prophecy that began with the discovery of Brazil – “everything planted will grow” – seems to be truer with each passing day. This country is the world’s largest producer of orange juice, coffee and sugarcane, second in the production of soy and beef, third in chicken and corn and fourth in the production of pork meat.
