Abstract

A new product design method and technology which is based on quality function deploy (QFD) and information entropy is presented for the merging of user needs in the revised design of human-machine interface, in the specific engineering technology field of manned capsule. This paper considers the features of revised design of manned capsule components and using QFD to guide the design process of man-machine interface. Additionally, information entropy theory is used to determine the importance of user requirements of QFD. The validity and practicability of this method is verified during the practical application of the revised design of human-machine interface of the manned capsule.
