Construction of Corpus and Knowledge Database for Naxi Dongba Manuscripts Based on Internationally Sharing Platform

Abstract

Naxi Dongba manuscripts were listed as memory of the world by UNESCO and its digital research is urgent. Construction of corpus database for Dongba manuscripts is the first step and basic work of digital research. Knowledge database will be built on the statistical information of corpus and the research experience of experts. The structure of corpus and knowledge base will be discussed and their input and output modes will be studied. Further research will be continued on information retrieval methods including the Naxi words and pictures of manuscripts. All the research aims to motivate the internationally study and protection of Naxi Dongba manuscripts.
